Bali is just a 2.5 hour flight from Darwin and we are closely knit with many social and diplomatic ties including a Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in the Darwin CBD. Our proximity to Indonesia makes engagement with our nearest neighbour much more vibrant and ‘real’ than for the rest of Australia.
