Expert Evidence

Dr Kelly has provided expert evidence on matters concerning Indonesian law and Aboriginal law. His expertise in these areas has been relied upon by counsel and judicial officers in proceedings before both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory of Australia.

His expert opinion has assisted the Courts and legal practitioners in addressing complex questions arising from the interaction of Australian and Indonesian legal systems, as well as matters involving Aboriginal law, customary practices and the legal and cultural context relevant to Aboriginal communities. Dr Kelly's experience enables him to provide independent, considered and authoritative evidence in matters where a proper understanding of these specialised areas of law is required.
